Our 2024 Holiday Market was hosted by Takk House, in downtown Troy, NY. A grand Victorian city home built in 1865 by William Farnham. For the past 10 years, Takk House has transformed into a unique, one-of-a-kind space featuring original architecture, beautiful wrapping staircases, a ballroom, custom second-level suites, and a tiki bar (@franklinalleysocialclub) in the basement (a Knights of Columbus bowling alley turned shuffleboard lanes!).

“Takk” means “thank you” in Icelandic and is pronounced “tock,” as in “tick-tock.” The “thank you” house? Well, yes! The basis of most celebrations is gratitude is ‘thank you’.
