“What the heck is an ‘Openbaar’ and is there free booze?”
‘ "Openbaar" (Dutch/Afrikaans for "public") combined with "market" refers to a public marketplace, often outdoors (open-air), where various sellers offer goods like fresh produce, crafts, new/used items, or prepared foods to the public, similar to a farmer's market, flea market, or bazaar.’
Sooo…no, there is no free booze party here- BUT- There will be a plethora of makers, artists, creators, unique and peculiar goods, all made by hand, by beautiful people from all over. We’re a one-day, seasonal open-air market located within the Capital Region.
Openbaar Market is brought to you by the co-founders of
The Vintage Roundup, the first vintage & antique only market in downtown Albany, NY!
We’re a modern-day take on the traditional ‘craft fair’ that encourages creators, artists, small businesses, and the community to connect and keep all forms of art alive. This isn’t your me-maws craft fair.
